Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. How do I apply?
A. You can apply using the application form provided on the So Easy Loans website or by phone (08) 8346 3387. Our process is easy and can take just a few minutes to complete. To get started, all we need are a few identifying details and the details of your desired home loan. Just click http://www.soeasyloans.com.au/apply/ to get started!
Q. My bank said they couldn’t help, should I bother applying?
Maybe your circumstances require a more flexible approach. If you are self-employed, have a poor credit record, require debt consolidation, have outstanding tax arrears or tax debt; we can still help. Our goal is to get you a “Yes” so you can move forward and achieve your goals, so speak to us today!
Q. I’m self-employed, can you help?
A. Yes. That is what we specialise in! Our “Low Doc Range” is designed for the self-employed, with great rates and simplified paperwork. Subject to meeting lending criteria, all you need to support your application is a signed Borrower Declaration stating your income, the ability to make your repayments and a statement of your assets and liabilities.
Q. I already spoke to a broker and they said ‘No’ can you help me?
A. We have helped numerous people that have been rejected by other brokers, at So Easy Loans we pride ourselves on helping people with specialist needs. You are not wasting our time by having a conversation about your needs.
Q. What is a low doc option?
A. Some of our lenders will allow you to self-declare financials if you sign a declaration confirming your income.
The lender can then assess your loan using the declared income. Although most lenders don’t charge a higher rate for low doc loans they may charge you Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) as a one-off fee when the loan is set up.
Q. How long do I need to be self-employed for?
A. To get a self-employed home loan, the majority of lenders require you to be self-employed for at least two to three years, however we have a lender that can consider people who have been self-employed for only one year or even less!
Q. What are Bad Credit Home Loans?
A. Bad credit home loans are mortgages for borrowers that have what is considered an ‘impaired’, or bad credit history. These home loans are specifically tailored to accommodate the lending requirements of borrowers who have a credit history that is not ‘clear’. They may have several credit impairments that will constitute a bad credit history and these include; defaults, judgements, part IX or bankruptcy, company administration and loan arrears. If you have had any of these issues we can still help.
